G'day! I'm Jernej Kavka (JK), a Microsoft AI MVP based in Brisbane, Australia.
I work across agentic AI, Azure AI, coding-agent workflows, .NET and EF Core, with a focus on practical developer productivity, evaluation, performance and safe handoff into real software projects. By day I work as a Solution Architect at SSW Consulting.
My interest in intelligent and AI-adjacent systems goes back to natural-user-interface work: Microsoft Surface table, Kinect, gesture engines, conversational AI, computer vision and later Cognitive Services. From there I moved through ML.NET and training-data work and I was using GPT-3 for an email classification pet project months before ChatGPT was released — which became my talk at NDC Sydney 2022.
